ABD AZIZ BIN AHMAD
Director / CEO
He started his banking career with the local bank and
has served with various departments in financial institutions for over 30 years. He has gained wide knowledge and experience in the Islamic banking
industry within Conventional Banking with Islamic
Banking windows operations in the Bank specializing in corporate advisory and retail finance. He is the pioneer staff in the Skim Perbankan Islam (SPI) / SPTF initiative introduced by Bank Negara Malaysia in March 1993 to disseminate and promote Islamic banking on a wider scope by allowing licensed institutions under the Banking and Financial Institutions Act 1989 (BAFIA) to offer
Islamic banking services using their existing infrastructures and brand name
Over the years within the Islamic Banking industries, he has been actively engaged in Islamic Banking products, services, and operational issues related to Shariah matters. In addition, he also delivered several Islamic Banking / Finance-related courses and subjects.
He also sits on the board of several Private Limited companies and also as the Treasurer of Koperasi Bimbingan Usahawan Millinia Bhd (KBUMB) and Honorary Secretary to the Malaysia International Affair and Investment Council (MIAIC)
En Abd Aziz is the Board member and resumes duties
as the Group Executive Director.
DR. MOHD SHAHID BIN
MOHD NOH
Shariah Adviser
Dr Mohd Shahid Bin Mohd Noh has been a
Senior Lecturer in the Academic of Islamic Studies,
"Akademi Pegajian Islam (API)" at Universiti Malaya
since 2018. He has obtained a Diploma in Tahfiz
Al-Quran Wa Al-Qiraat, Darul JA KIM in 2002 and a Bachelor of Art in Qiraat specialization from Maahad Qiraat Shoubra Al-Azhar, Egypt in 2005.
He has completed his first Master in
Business Administration (Muamalah) from
Selangor Islamic College University (KUIS) in 2011
and his second Master in Islamic Financial
Practice (MIFP) at INCEIF in 2015. He has succeeded
in obtaining his PhD in Faculty of Economy and
Muamalat from “Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia”
(USIM). His specialization areas are in Islamic
Financial Transactions, Islamic Capital Market,
Islamic Economics, and General Islamic Jurisprudence.
He is a registered Shariah Advisor under the
“The Registration of Shariah Advisers Guidelines is
issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC)
under section 377 of the Capital Markets and Services
Act 2007 (CMSA)”
DR MOHD FAISOL BIN IBRAHIM.
Shariah Advisor.
Dr. Mohd Faisol received his first degree in Shariah from University Malaya, and then completed his Master’s degree in Islamic Economics from University Kebangsaan Malaysia with distinction. He then obtained his Ph.D. from University Malaya in Islamic Banking.
Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer at University Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) attached to the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat for the past 10 years. Before that, he was lecturing at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) , under the Faculty of International Finance Labuan, Islamic Finance Programme.
He had been involved in the advisory and structuring of various Islamic financial products, including banking products, capital market products, and takaful products. He also provides advisory services in Islamic wealth management, waqaf, and zakat.
Despite his academic commitments, Dr. Faisol is also active in community work, sitting as the Deputy Treasurer of the Persatuan Kanser KanWork, a cancer support group that conducts 'outreach' activities or community support activities
DR AHMAD ZAKIRULLAH BIN MOHAMED SHAARANI

He obtained his Diploma of Shariah Islamiyyah (Hons) from Higher Institute of Islamic and Arabic Language (MADIWA), Perak, Bachelor of Shariah Islamiyyah (Hons) Degree from Al-Azhar University, Egypt, Master’s Degree (Hons) of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage (Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh) from the International Islamic University Malaysia and Doctor of Philosophy of Usul al-Fiqh from University of Malaya.
Currently, he is a lecturer with Faculty of Economic and Management at .University of Education Sultan Idris.
AIDIELLA AKMALIA
Shariah Research Executive
Aidiella Akmalia age 27, graduated with a double degree from International University of Malaya-Wales in Islamic Finance (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Administration (Hons) from University of Wales, UK.
She is currently coordinates with business management to determine Islamic Finance and Halal products management research objectives and to conduct detailed research of intended subject matter according to shariah compliant business needs as well to formulate effective and efficient research process and to identify market trends and patterns.
